Bees of the PNW is an ongoing series of watercolors and prints focusing on the native bee species of the Pacific Northwest, particularly those of Washington State. In Washington State alone there are over 600 different species of bees, so this will be a long, informative project. It was started in the summer of 2019 and will be ongoing for the foreseeable future. Every spring, summer, and fall I tend to observe new (to me) bees of Washington state!
