This drypoint is from my Snags of Bloedel Reserve series, created during my Community Creative residency on Bainbridge Island throughout 2024. This is an ongoing series that includes etchings of snags from the reserve, as well as the various animals I noticed interacting with them. The nuthatch was one of the first animals that I noticed on the snags, and was the first image from the series.
